Welcome & Schedule

The organizers would like to wish you a warm welcome to the 7th annual International Topical Meeting on Neutron Radiography. Since 1990 we have gathered across the globe (US, Europe and Japan) to engage in lively discussion of new scientific techniques including topics such as neutron radiography, chemical products, building materials and so on. This year we anticipate an animated, friendly and academic atmosphere amongst many distinguished guests.

Presentations and Papers

For those who have submitted and received acceptance notices for their Abstracts, confirmation of your registration and the presentation information for oral and poster presentations will be emailed by May 11.

For those who wish to have their Paper reviewed and published, please submit manuscripts by June 1. Details are under “Presentation”, “Full Paper Submission”.

Confirmed academic presentations include those on neutron radiography and technical equipment. Check our announcements page for more information as it becomes available.

Thank you to all who attended. In addition to the above we also want to thank other presenters we had the pleasure of hearing from including those from the legal, academic and medical fields, in particular the conference center staff and planners who lit up our wonderful venue.

Please note that you should reserve your accommodations individually by May 1.

Academic Bursaries

We are introducing a limited number of slots for speakers and attendees to receive funding under exceptional circumstances. These will be awarded on merit to those who would undergo substantial hardship in travelling to our venue in Canada. Unfortunately, as much as we'd like to, we are never able to subsidize all deserving candidates. Younger academics may benefit from discussing their situation with the federal student loans. Those seeking an immediate solution may investigate short term option availability, but we do not make specific representations and your best choice of financing your visit will depend on your own set of circumstances. We have also ceased to make specific company recommendations as we believe it best that all attendees perform their own research into funding options and potential subsidies before planning a trip. You are welcome to get in touch with us if you'd like to learn more about what we have to offer.

Feel free to get in touch if you still have questions remaining about the best way to reach the conference, and to maximize the benefit of your time.

Business Applications of Our Technology

One key part of our focus in the upcoming conference will be the potential business and corporate applications of new radiography technology and developments. We firmly believe that the best way to secure long-term research funding is to ensure the viability of business uses of equipment and intellectual advances. This will be covered in a later announcement. Private backers are a crucial component in driving forward academic work. With topics spanning chemicals to building materials, it is little wonder that private sector firms are able to aid success with the help of cutting edge research in areas such as renewable energy. Those who attend the conference will have the chance to meet representatives of these firms.
